I love finding beauty and recording it through my lens!

My whole purpose in photography is to give you a fantastic experience that you will enjoy and cherish!

My whole adventure in photography really started when I received my first DSLR from my Dad as a thank you gift.  He knew I loved taking pictures, but I wonder if he knew then just how much I love it.  I think he was inspired in his decision and I am very grateful for it.  I had never been so excited and surprised about a gift as I was when I opened that box.  Since then, I have taken thousands of photos, and I decided I wanted to learn to use my camera to it's full capacity.  So I started taking classes, and talking to other photographers, and going to workshops to learn all I could about the art of photography and the technical aspects using a camera.  My passion for learning and practicing photography has only snowballed from there, and I LOVE taking photos of people.  I often see total strangers and think to myself  "Oh I wish I could take their picture right now...what a beautiful family...or what a perfect moment....!"  Capturing the beauty of a person, and the special relationship between people, and the sweet glimpses of happiness and love is what ignites my thrill for taking pictures.  I think it is so important to celebrate life through photos, because it's amazing how much even one special photo can bring back a flood of memory and emotion and can give us so much joy.

I am married to a very handsome, smart, amazing man

I love the spring and summertime

I love being outside in nature

I like to cook

I like to eat even more
I am obsessed with Culvers frozen custard :) ... and now Maui Chill too ;)

I love making new friends

I have a bachelors in Recreation Therapy from BYU

My husband was deployed to Iraq for twenty months (yes 20) after our first son was born

In the last eight years our family has moved five times
I sing my babies to sleep at night

I am a Mormon (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints)
I wish I took time to read more books
I love to travel, and have along list of places yet to see

I've visited Belgium, France, Holland, Romania, Hawaii, Mexico, the Bahamas, and half the states in the US
I love the beach and miss the days when I lived in CA and could run on the shore everyday
I want to adopt a child from another country
I love music
I am passionate about taking pictures!
