I took these a few months ago of my oldest son. We just went out in the back yard and did whatever we felt like. It turned out to be a fun spontaneous shoot! I'm so glad I have these pictures of him! :) We actually just finished our first year of home school, and I am happy to be able to say it was a really great year. It started with lots of challenges, trying to figure out how to work it into our already busy lives, and learning to get through the subjects efficiently each day, and all the other things that go into it. Even with the challenges, this year has been so rewarding. Our relationship has grown, and we have a much better connection than we had last year, and I love that! I love how we can talk about anything anytime. We had some amazing conversations this year. I also learned first hand how incredibly intelligent my son is (I already knew he was super smart, but I had no idea just how brilliant he truly is!). I love this boy with all my heart, and I'm so grateful for all the amazing experiences I've been able to share with him in our eight years together so far!
